Edwina "Bea" Hutchinson Holcomb Charleston - Edwina "Bea" Hutchinson Holcomb, 93, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Monday, September 13, 2021. Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, September 17, 2021, in Christ Our King Catholic Church, 1149 Russell Drive, at 10:30 a.m. Prayers of Final Commendation and Farewell will be held at a later date. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc., Mount Pleasant Chapel. Edwina was born September 23, 1927, in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, daughter of the late Andrew Leroy Hutchinson and the late Frances Elliott Hutchinson. She is survived by her two sons: Hoyt "Fritz" Holcomb (Nancy) of Moneta, VA, and David J. Holcomb (Angela) of Charleston, SC; brother, A.L. Hutchinson, Jr. of Mount Pleasant, SC; son-in-law, Nelson Silver; grandchildren: James Andrew Silver (Tania), Christopher Holcomb (Kim), Meghan Ardis (Michael), Jonathan Holcomb (Chrissy), Mandy Holcomb, and Brandy Gaetano (Zach); and great-grandchildren: Trenton, Trevor, Saige, Jameson, Anna Claire, Hudson, Molly, Hutch, Landon, Blake, and Paige. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Cynthia Holcomb Silver. The family would like to thank Home Instead Senior Care, Bea's caregivers, Beverly Johnson and Estelle Asby, and all of the support staff at Roper St. Francis Hospice Care.
