I am so saddened to hear about Ms. Gadsden's passing. She was my teacher in high school over 25 years ago and one of my favorites. I'll always remember her. My deepest condolences to her family.

Edwina lived her life as a Christain should. It was always a pleasure to be graced by her presence.

To The Gadsden Family you are in my prayers. I last seen her a couple of years ago at the hospital. She was my English teacher at NCHS. She kept me in check and I thank God for her to this day. Heaven has gained an ANGEL.

My deepest condolences to the family of Ms. Gadsden. I'm a former student of Ms. Gadsden and have fond memories of her. I would see her just about every week @ the store. She will truly be missed by all who loved & cared about her. God will see you through this difficult time and she will live on in our hearts.

I remember Edwina when I spoke to you at the wake of Robert Pickering a mutual classmate of ours. May the God of peace and love comfort your family. You will always remain in our hearts and we will never forget you.

Saddened by the unexpected death of Edwina. We last talked and laughed three week ago at the Post Office where we often saw another. Edwina will surely be missed by her many friends.

I was sad to hear of the passing of our neighbor Miss Edwina. She was such a wonderful lady with a kind heart. It seemed as if she had never met a stranger. She would never pass us by without stopping and saying hello and truely cared about how we were doing. Rest easy, you will truely be missed.

I am truly going to miss my neighbor. She would always beep her horn, holler hello and strike up a conversation with everyone on our street. While she was afraid of dogs she always said hello to my dog, Maggie. Rest in peace, dear, sweet friend.

A very caring woman of God. Rest in Peace.

I am truly saddened to hear of the passing of my dear friend, neighbor and adopted cousin Edwina. I will miss the many visits, chats, and laughs with this sweet traveling woman. She never met a stranger, traveled well and enjoyed life to the fullest despite any health issues. I can still see her "sashaying" around the house, simply being busy... Rest now my dear friend. I'll always cherish our visit on last week and how you worried about me getting wet in the rain, while leaving. Edwina was always concerned about the well being of others...always. Enjoy Heaven My Friend!! I miss you already.

Edwina was a strong, feisty, and very caring lady. We are saddened by her demise but her beautiful smile and spirit will always always be in our hearts. To her family, she was classy, warm- hearted and a very accomplished lady. She had spoken so highly of you. We'll all pray she will Rest In Peace. Our best wishes to all especially during the holidays.

Mrs. Gadsden was 1 of my favorite teachers at North Charleston High. I got to know her better after her aunt bought a house in my Rosemont community. She will be missed.
