Papaw not a day goes by that i don't think about and miss you so much. It doesn't seem like you have been gone for 3 years. It was only yesterday that i could walk from our backyard into yours and right into your house to see you and mammaw sitting in the couch chatting. I love you so much and miss you too. You will never be forgotten or gone...i still feel you here with us. The Cardinals are proof.

Mrs. Sumner and Family,

I am so sorry to hear of your lost. I will always remember Dr. Sumner as he was always so kind to me and my son, Travis. Always saying kind words, making lots of jokes, taking us (admin spec)to the nicest restaurants, framing Travis' picture. May he rest in peace and God grant you all serenity.
