Edward Snyder Obituary

Edward Snyder MT. PLEASANT - Edward Snyder passed away peacefully on April 17, 2010. He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., December 6, 1923. He served with distinction with the U.S. Army during World War II in France, Germany and England, where he met and married Kitty, his wife of 65 years, who survives him. He was an avid outdoorsman and golfer. A highlight of his golfing occurred when he shot two rounds of sub-par golf at Saint Andrews Old Course in Scotland. He designed and fabricated several tools and pieces of equipment for the automobile and heating and air conditioning industries. He is also survived by his son Ed, of Point Richmond, California. He will be missed by his friends and family and friends. He will be laid to rest at The National Cemetery in Beaufort, South Carolina on April 22, 2010. Dear Kitty and Ed, Jr.
Ed was a genuine, unique person and he loved life and his family. We were blessed to have him here at Beaumont as a neighbor and friend.
