Edward Mizell Obituary

Edward Lee Mizell ST. GEORGE - Edward Lee Mizell, 66, of 905 Dukes Street, died Thursday, July 29, 2010, at Trident Medical Center. Funeral services will be held July 31, 2010, at 4:00 p.m., at Zion United Methodist Church with John Carrigan and Robert Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Lee Kinser, Joey Mizell, George Muckenfuss, Jr., Norman E. Mizell, Jr., Evan Mizell and Ethan Mizell. The family will receive friends at the church from 2:00-4:00 p.m., at the church. Edward "Eddie" was born on October 9, 1943, in Charleston a son of Burel C. Mizell and Beulah F. Mizell Evans. He worked in the construction business. He was pre-deceased by a brother, Norman Efird Mizell, Sr. Survivors are his former wife Barbara Mizell, Dillon, SC; three daughters, Karen Renee Mizell, Janet Leigh Mizell, Lisa Ann Mizell, all of Dillon, SC; a sister, Vera (Kirby) M. Pendarvis, Dorchester; a brother, Joe (Dixie) Mizell, Reevesville; six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Memorials may be made to Bryant Funeral Home, P.O. Box 306, St. George, SC 29477.
