Edward Greenhill, Sr. BONNEAU - Entered into eternal rest on the morning of Sunday, January 10, 2010, Edward Calvin Greenhill, Sr. husband of Oma Powell Greenhill. Residence, Bonneau, SC. The relatives and friends of Mr. & Mrs. Edward C. Greenhill, Sr. are invited to attend his funeral service in Life Baptist Church in St. Stephens, SC, Wednesday, January 13, 2010, at eleven o'clock. Interment with military honors following the service at Carolina Memorial Park at one o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Friends may call at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., NORTHWOODS CHAPEL, 2180 Greenridge Road on Tuesday, between five and seven o'clock. Mr. Greenhill was born on February 9, 1935 in North Charleston, SC the son of the late Johnny Greenhill and the late Janie Whetsell Greenhill. He was retired from Mead Westvaco and the National Guard as a Sergeant E5. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Oma Greenhill of Bonneau, SC; son, Edward Calvin Greenhill Jr. and his wife Renee of Bonneau, SC; two sisters, Linda Gamble of Summerville, SC and Dorothy Mizel of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother, John W. Greenhill, Jr. of Goose Creek, SC; one grandson, Ron Saunders and his wife Kim; and one granddaughter, Katelyn Greenhill. Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to Life Baptist Church, P.
