Edna Jane Farr
Johns Island - Edna Jane "Janie" Farr, 95, of Johns Island, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 22, 2026. Her memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 3, 2026 in First Scotts Presbyterian Church at 1pm with a reception and celebration of life to follow. Arrangements by J. Henry Stuhr, Inc. Downtown Chapel.

So sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Farr. I´ve known Mr & Mrs Farr for many years. My brother, the late Frankie Hymes worked for The Farrs for thirty years, and they treated him like a valued family member. Mrs Farr was an amazing soul and I know she will be sorely missed by all who were blessed to know her. RIP Beautiful Lady!

Mrs. Farr was so special to me and my son´s families. Fourth of July was Janie´s birthday and always a highlight for us to be included. We always looked forward to Christmas and enjoying the holidays with my brother Tony and Cinde and the Farr´s.

I am so sorry to hear about Mrs. Farr. She and her family were my "back yard" neighbors for years when I was growing up on James Island. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Janie always was at her church at First Scots Presbyterian dressed beautufully and greated everyone with a smile. I will miss seeing her across the isle on Sunday. Prayers to her family.
