Edmund Collins Obituary

Edmund "Edd" A. Collins CHARLESTON, SC - Edmund "Edd" Allen Collins entered into eternal rest on the evening of Friday, August 27, 2010. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends of Edd are invited to attend his funeral service on Sunday, August 29, 2010, in J. HENRY STUHR INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL at Two O'clock. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will be conducted Monday, August 30, 2010, at Two O'clock in Beulah Presbyterian Cemetery, Monroe, NC. Mr. Collins was born August 16, 1938, in Charlotte, NC the son of the late Albert Lee Collins and Mildred Claire Starnes Collins of Pageland, SC. He was a retired businessman. He attended Presbyterian College and was of the Presbyterian faith. Mr. Collins is survived by his sister, Julie Perry of Zebulon, NC; two brothers, Tom Collins of North Charleston, SC and John Collins of Chatham, VA; seven nieces and nephews and eleven great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Jane Collins. Memorials may be made to Beulah Presbyterian Church, 8305 Landsford Road, Monroe, NC, 28112.
