Edith Kopp Obituary

KOPP, Edith Entered into eternal rest on the evening of August 25, 2008, Edith Charlotte Steffen Kopp, widow of Frederick Kopp, resident of Charleston, South Carolina. Mrs. Kopp was born on July 18, 1913 in Germany to Karl and Sophie Enossing Steffen. She was a member of St. Andrews Parish United Methodist where she was a member of Nimble Fingers Ministry and United Methodist Women. Surviving are her daughter-in-law, Margot Kopp of Charleston; and five grandchildren, Donna Gibson of Virginia, Robin Cornier of New Jersey, Michael Kopp of New York, Christopher Kopp of New Jersey, and Steven Kopp of New Jersey; fourteen great grandchildren, and five great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by a son, Donald C. Kopp. Memorial service later. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Andrews Parish United Methodist Church, 3225 Ashley River Road, Charleston, SC 29414. Arrangements by J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL. Margot,
My prayers are with you and your family. Edith held a special place in my heart as one of the first persons to greet me when I visited St. Andrews looking for a new church. Her warm smile and gentle handshake will always be in my heart. God Bless You.
