Edith Greisser
CROSS HILL — Edith C. Greisser, 73, of 31 Summerset Bay Dr., Cross Hill, SC, wife of Harry Greisser, died Thursday, October 10, 2013, at her residence.
Born May 7, 1940 in, Philadelphia, PA she was the daughter of the late Harry and Catherine Duff Voss.
Edith was a registered nurse having graduated from St. Agnes School of Nursing. She was very active with the Newberry Historical Society serving as the Journal editor and also worked closely with the restoration of the Village Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband Harry; children, Patricia Deesy (Robert), Harry Greisser, Jr. (Linda), Charles Greisser (Michelle), and Michael Greisser; six grandchildren; one great- grandchild; a sister and brother.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Whitaker Funeral Home, Newberry.
Memorials are suggested to HospiceCare of the Piedmont, 408 W. Alexander Ave, Greenwood, SC 29646.

Harry,
Edith was a dear friend & helped Bill & me w/ancestry information. She was good with many things and we really appreciated all she did for our community & Historical Society. I miss Bill as I know you will miss her. God Bless!
