Dear Zeke and Debra;
Warm condolences to you and all your family during your time of loss. We both thought a lot of your mother. Julia and I especially enjoyed getting to meet and talk with with her at Penny's house. She loved her family and the Lord Jesus. It would have been easy to talk with her for hours to hear her many stories of days gone by.
Sorry we missed you the other day.
We love you and our prayers are with you.

I have always admired Mr. and Mrs. Douan since my days at Chicora. I stopped by the grocery store almost every morning and chat with Mr. Douan on my way to school. And most of the time Mrs. Douan was there also. They were, in my opinion, the ideal parents. I still recall those days from time to time. I know that now God has them in his arms forever. May God bless the family.

Dear Win, I read about your Mama's death in the newspaper today. Just her name brought back many wonderful memories of the grocery store, football games, your dad in his bright red shirt, and big family meals. She was a great lady and she sure loved her children. Mama (Betty) and I send our love and prayers..... Do tell Joey I am really proud of him and get a kick out of seeing him on TV! Go Joey!
