Earnest C. "Ernie"

Earnest C. "Ernie" Froman, age 77, of Toledo, Ohio died Tuesday, April 21, 2015. He was born April 10, 1938, in Cairo, IL to Earnest I. and Martha I. (Hicks) Froman. He served his country in both the U.S. Army and the U.S. Marine Corps and was later employed by GMC Truck and Bus as a Quality Inspector for 29 years, before retiring in 1993. In his spare time he enjoyed playing golf and bowling, but what he loved the most was spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth Froman; sons, Craig (Janette) Froman and Eric (Traci) Froman; daughter, Ann Marie (Tim) Murphy; 7 grandchildren; as well as his sisters, Peggy Naugle, Katie Roop and Vicki Froman; former wife, Dianne Froman; as well as many nieces and nephews. Ernie was preceded in death by his parents, Earnest and Martha; brothers, Robert and William Froman and his nephew, Rusty Vance.

There will be no public visitation however family and friends will be received at 1 p.m. on Saturday April 25, 2015, at American Legion Post #646, 1047 Clarion Ave. in Holland, OH.
