Earl Shepard Obituary

Earl Shepard Dorchester, SC - Earl Lynn Shepard, 66, husband of Gail Nesbitt Shepard, of Dorchester, SC passed away Monday, April 4, 2016 at his residence. Graveside Services will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 11 AM at Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday evening from 6-8 PM at PARKS FUNERAL HOME. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 269 Calhoun Street, Charleston, SC 29401. Mr. Shepard was born May 14, 1949 in Campbell, MO, a son of Linzell W. Shepard and Elaine Henderson Shepard. He was a Chief Warrant Officer in the US Navy and a Vietnam veteran. He was employed with Detyens Shipyard as a Project Manager. He is survived by his wife, Gail N. Shepard of Dorchester; two daughters, Heather Lynn Williams (Rob) of Summerville and Jodi Lynn Burbage (Dempsey) of Dorchester; six grandchildren, Mollie Lynn McCormick, Dalton Lane Burbage, Loyless Limehouse, Maggie Elaine Limehouse, Hampton Earl Burbage and Rylee Williams; and two brothers, Michael Shepard and Philip Shepard, both of Missouri. Mr. Shepard was predeceased by his first wife, Karen Lou Shepard.
