Earl Riffle Obituary

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers for our family. Even though we were only married a short time, he was the love of my life and I will miss him everyday!

I'm so sad to here of Earl's passing. A man of integrity and generosity, I miss playing golf with him and seeing his smiling face at the dealerships.

The world smiled when Earl was around. He was very honest, sincere and had integrity, which the world so desires now a days. I have known Earl for many years. While I never had a chance to meet Donna in person, I wish you Gods peace and blessing. Its a sad day for us but a great day for God. We were shocked to hear the news of Earls passing. He was truely a friend and fun to work with. He will be missed. Our prayers are with his family. He was very special to us.

We just received word about Earl and all of us here are so very sorry to hear about the loss of such a great person. We hope his family finds comfort and strength with loved ones and knowing that Earl was thought very highly of and will be missed dearly. Derek, Paul and the Dodgeland family.

I was so shocked to just receive a phone call from a good friend that Earl had lost his battle with cancer. My mother, Sophie Blanchard Cottingham, worked with Earl at Cogdill Carpets in Columbia, SC when I was a teenager. Several years ago I ran into Earl again, only to discover that we were in the same business now!! We ran into each other regularly and shared many memories and stories. He was a wonderful man. I saw him just a couple of months ago and he was so happy. Donna, my prayers are with you and the family. Earl will be missed by all who knew him!!

To the Family of Earl Riffle - as a classmate of Earl's I send my heartfelt sympathy. Earl was "one of us" and went with our group to the beach after our senior year in high school. He was greatly loved and will be greatly missed. Blessings to all of you as you grieve your loss.

I went to school with Earl and always thought he was one of the good guys. I knew all of the boys and work with Mike now. Earl visited the office here several times after his mom passed and it was always good to see him. He was very courageous throughout his battle with the cancer and I never saw him when he wasn't on his way to take care of business. He will be missed.

I wil never forget my friend, Earl. We were always in homeroom together. We always sat close to each other because we became friends and we would joke around together and laugh and laugh. Great memories. I know he will be missed. I pray for his family as they go through this sorrow.
