Earl Commodore Obituary
Earl Moward Commodore passed away peacefully
with his loving family and friends by his side on
November 27, 2014 at the Chilliwack Cascades
Hospice at the age of 78 years. He was born April
24, 1936 in Comox, BC. Earl is survived by the love
of his life, Lynne, his sons Jay (Trish), Earl, Rand
(Jackie), daughter Heather, step-sons Gary
Madore, Rick Madore (Hillary), Greg Coates
(Monika) and step-daughter Melanie Coates and
grandchildren, Stephen, Ashley, Evan, Danielle,
Tony and Taylor. He is also survived by his
brothers Norman, Bill, Barry (Connie), Gary
(Jamie) and his sisters Markie, Faye, Sharon
(Bernie) and Betsy and numerous extended family
members and nieces and nephews. He was
predeceased by his son Drew and his parents Andy
and Tress. A Viewing & Prayers for family and
friends will be held on December 1, 2014 at 7:00
p.m. at the Spath Lalem Hall on Soowhalie. A
Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday,
December 2, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Tzeachten
Community Hall. Memorial donations may be
made to the Earl Commodore Education Bursary
for Soowahlie students.

To the Commodore Family, I am sorry to hear of your loss. I always knew him as uncle Earl and remember him as a good friend of the family.I know that his passing is very sad for Leann because he was her most cherished uncle who cared for her so much as well.

To the Commodore Family; I will always have the fondest thoughts of Earl. He had a special place here with us at the Golf Course and in our hearts. We will miss him. We wish you all sincere condolences. from Iris , Jeff and Michelle Bahnman and Cultus Lake Golf club.

I have great memories of Earl. He spent a lot of time at our house in Vancouver when i was growing up. He was always very nice, always had a smile on his face and had a great sense of humor. I am really happy that my mom Edie and I had a visit with him a few weeks ago. He was in good form and telling great stories. We will miss him\O/

A great way to measure a man's wealth and achievement is to look at his biggest investment - his family! I have never met Earl but I am so very fortunate to be a friend to his daughter. And I can only imagine the great man that has departed. Earl your legacy will live on thru the vast richness of your beautiful family. RIP

Coming out to the lake for party"s, picking you up when you arrived here in Cabo, it was so good to see you both. We keep old friend close to our hearts.RIP
