E. Cooper Obituary

COOPER, Davis E. Davis Cooper, 88, of Macedonia, SC, a retired employee of DuPont and Anderson Electric, died Monday morning in a N. Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 11:00 AM this Friday morning, Dec. 11, 2008, in the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM in the Hucksfield Cemetery, Hemmingway, SC, directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Mr. Cooper was born May 20, 1920, in Georgetown County, SC, a son of Samuel David Cooper and Cora Gertrude Powers Cooper. He was a Navy veteran of W.W. II and a member of the First Baptist Church, Moncks Corner, where he was a former Sunday school teacher. He was a Sir Knight of the Anderson Commandery No. 11, K.T. and a member of the Gideons. Mr. Cooper was a life member of the Morocco Shriners. Surviving are his wife, Juel Cox Mishoe Cooper; a daughter, Anneece Mishoe Gregory of Summerville; two sisters, Eunice Claggett of Kissimmee, FL, and Annie Larson of Miami, FL; four grandchildren, Casandra, Lisa, Michael, and Chris; six great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. MRS. COOPER, I WAS VERY SADDENED TO HEAR OF MR. COOPER'S PASSING.. I WILL MISS HIM GREATLY. HE WAS ALWAYS THE PERFECT GENTLEMAN... MAY GOD BLESS YOU IN YOUR TIME OF NEED.
