Dulcie Doig Obituary

Dulcie Marshall Mahn Doig Mt. Pleasant - Dulcie Marshall Mahn Doig, 95, widow of Marion Tilton Doig, Jr., died peacefully on August 2, 2017 at home surrounded by her family. As we mourn her departure, we celebrate her long and joyous time on this earth. Born in Bennettsville, SC, Dulcie was the daughter of the late Charles Mahn and Dora Bundy Mahn. She moved to Charleston at the age of 10. She was predeceased by her husband, her parents, and her siblings Wilhelmina Parler, Louise Veno, Helen Smith, and Charlie Mahn. Dulcie was a retiree of the former Citizens and Southern National Bank of Charleston, South Carolina where she spent more than 25 years of her life. Dulcie is a former member of the Concordia Circle of St Paul's Lutheran Church and the Elks Lodge #242 DOES club. She enjoyed family, bowling, cards, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and games. Dulcie is survived by her two children; son Dr. Marion T. (Katrina) Doig III of Mt. Pleasant; daughter Carolyn J. Doig "CT" of Mt Pleasant; her grandchildren, Chadwick Marshall (Allison) Doig, Bryan Tilton Doig, Sean Michael (Katie) Doig; great-grandchildren, Mac, Tilton, Jake, Sully, Evan and Cameron. The funeral service will be held Friday, August 4, 2017 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at 2:30 p.m. The family will receive family and friends one hour prior to service at the church.
