I was searching for Douglas "DOC". I didn´t knew he passed away 2 years ago. We where station in Spangdahlem Germany together. And we where roommates & work for Headquarters Battery 2/62nd. He taught me everything in reference to bring a soldier. My sincere condolences to all. He would always talk about his daughter. The year was 1982/83. He shared his pain with losing his wife with me. I live in Florida, Blessings to all.

Doug was a great neighbor. Before and after the passing of his mom, he would always check on my mother as he passed my moms house. He will truly be missed. Savage Road will never be the same. Thank you for sharing him with us. He has a special place in our hearts. I'm gonna miss you very much Doug. I'm truly sad.
