Douglas Baham Obituary

Mrs Baham, you don't know me but my name is Cheryl Beck and i am Dorothy Alsups neice. I have talked to you and Mr Baham a time or two on the phone enquiring about Jim Alsup after he moved into his daughters home. We talked to Jim on Wednesday Nov.26 and just learned of Mr Baham's passing. I just wanted to tell you that my Mother (Georgie Hutson..Dorothys sister) and i greatly appreciated Mr Baham taking Jim under his wing and watching over him as he did. We thought very highly of Mr Baham and his kindness will always be remember. We were sadden to hear of his passing and to let you know you are in our thoughts and prayers. There are not many families that come into your life that become your family, but that is what happened with the Holders when they met the Bahams. Dear Debbie You proably don't remember me but I used date David and we had a baby she is now 11yrs old. And I just found out through a friend that Doug had past away. I'm sorry that he is gone but he is with is dad and mom and sister and is going to be alright he want hurt anymore and he will miss you and the kids espiecally the grand kids.

I was so very sorry to hear of Doug's passing. I was planning on stopping in Shreveport this weekend to see you and Doug on my way back from Baton Rouge. I am so sorry that I did not stop at the beginning of my trip. I would have loved to see Doug one more time, and tell him how special he was to all of us, and especially to my father. My dad, Cleve Baham, considered him like a son, and speaks so lovingly about you and Doug. Please take care, and give my sympathy to your family. I know Doug is hanging out with his "Papa" now.

My deepest sympathy goes out for all of you in this time of need. He sure was a character and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
