Dorothy Minotti Obituary

Dorothy Minotti CHARLESTON - Dorothy Whittington Minotti, known by her family as Dinx, of Folly Beach, South Carolina, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on September 22, 2024 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on July 19, 1946 and lived in Bear, Delaware until her marriage. Dorothy was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to all that knew her with an expansive knowledge of computers that she was always willing to share. She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy B. Whittington and Thomas D. Whittington, of Bear and her husband Angelo Minotti of Charleston. She is survived by her much loved children, Matthew Minotti (Sarah) and Dorothy Minotti of Charleston and siblings, Thomas D. Whittington, Jr. (Marna) of Yorklyn, Delaware, Richard F. Whittington (May) of Naples, Florida and Faith Whittington of Arden, Delaware. She will be especially missed by her grandchildren, Georgia and Francesca. In accordance with her wishes, interment will be private with the family conducting a celebration of her life in the future.
