Dorothy Patricia Broach Mecke EUTAWVILLE, SC - Dorothy Patricia Broach Mecke, age 53, of Eutawville, SC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, October 31, 2010, at her residence. She was born in Charleston, SC on June 4, 1957, to the late James K. Broach and Juanita Powers Broach. She enjoyed shopping, gardening, fishing, and swimming. She was of the Nazarene Faith. She is survived by her husband, Carl Clyde Mecke, Jr. of Eutawville SC; daughter, Amanda Land of Goose Creek, SC; son, Rusty Robinson (Kim) of Goose Creek, SC; five grandchildren; brothers, Jack Broach of Greer, SC, Tommy Broach, Sr. of North Charleston, SC, Johnny Broach of Summerville, SC; sisters, Shirley Broach Pye of North Charleston, SC, Janice Broach Meeks of Moncks Corner, SC, and Mary Broach Gries of Fernandina Beach, FL; and numerous other family members. She was preceded in death by her brother, James C. Broach. A memorial service will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC 29406 at a later date.
