Dorothy Salvo McGill SUMMERVILLE - Dorothy Salvo McGill, lifetime resident of Summerville, South Carolina entered into eternal rest Saturday afternoon, October 18, 2014. She was born in Summerville, South Carolina, a daughter of the late Mann Walker Salvo and Anna Limehouse Salvo. She was a devoted homemaker, mother, grandmother and a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Dot was preceded in death by her husbands, Aubrey Drawdy and Charles W. McGill, her daughter, Sherrilyn Anna Drawdy, and her two sisters, Elizabeth Simmons and Evelyn Evans. Surviving are daughters, Dorothy Richards of Summerville, South Carolina and Michelle Gay Couch of Grayson, Georgia; Grandchildren, Sheriess Elizabeth Singletary and her husband David of Greenville, South Carolina, Robert Steven White, Jr. of Pooler, Georgia, Andrew Ballard Henry of Loganville, Georgia, Audrey Michelle Richards of Summerville, South Carolina; Great-grandchildren, Dylan and Kaitlynn Singletary, Haylee and Jackson White, and Dot's devoted lifetime friend, Cynthia Riley of Summerville, South Carolina. Dot enjoyed spending time with her family, working in her yard and watching the birds from her Florida room. Additionally, she found great joy with her beloved cat, Katherine, and her grand-pup and friend, Ludy Bell. Funeral services will be private. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Frances Willis SPCA, PO Box 1116, Summerville, SC 29484.
