Dear Rick, Eve and family, We are so sorry to her of your lost, but know now that she is in Our Heavenly Father Arms, May God Bless you all, and may His Peace gave you all great comfort during these difficult time.

Nell Liles A.K.A. Mema touched all of our lives in such a loving way.I have such found memories of the Lakehouse and driving the "Poptart", Playing cards,fishing on the pontoon boat,and all the music. Mema opened her home to both my children for many weekends. Chris to Jam with Rodney and Noel for sleep overs.All the slumber parties, the Halloween nights with chicken and dumplings waiting to warm up the children. The beautiful knitted hats and scarfs and just the genuine love and joy she brought to others. There is not another Nell anywhere.Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thank you for sharing Mema with our family.

I have been your next door neighbor for fifteen years. Ms. Nell was very kind to our grandchild and always showed a great kindness to all children. I admire her for that and am sad to know she is gone. I will always appreciate her crocheting and personalized gifts, her dedication to being an American, and caring for all of the young people she dedicated her home to (Rodney and his musical friends in their journey for music). That makes her a very special and patient Grandma.

To my dear Liles family: Nell was my children's "other mother", and my dear friend. There will never be another "Mema". We all share the sadness of your loss. I am so glad to have had her in my life for over 34 years. Rest in peace, my sweet Nell.

My sons have lost their "other mother"...and 34 years of friendship and love saddens me beyond words. Rest in peace, my dear friend.
