Dorothy Lange Obituary

Dorothy C. Lange SUMMERVILLE - Dorothy C. Lange, 81, of Summerville, died Friday, September 5, 2014 at Trident Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: A.F.S.P. Attn: Community Walk, 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor, New York, NY 10005 (Oneonta-Anthony). Dorothy was born November 16, 1932 in Wyckoff, New Jersey, daughter of the late James and Dorothy Wanamaker Wilson. She graduated from Pompton Lakes High School, New Jersey and worked for New York Telephone as an operator. Surviving are: one son and daughter: Bill and Donna Lange of Worcester, NY and Cecelia (Lange) and Jimmy Meckelvaney of Summerville, SC; two brothers & one sister: Edward Wilson (Greta) of Phoenixville, PA and James Wilson (Anne) of Ringwood, NJ and Evelyn Potter (Kipp) of Lake Worth, FL; grandchildren: David Dubois and Bobby Banhart; granddaughter-in-law: Kristen Banhart; two great-grandchildren: Lyla Rose and Abigail Marie; several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson: Anthony Banhart. Cecelia I was so sorry to hear that your mom passed away while CB & I traveled. I know she is in no pain now. I sure am glad that I visited her in August. She had been very much on my mind before my visit. I said a special prayer for her and for you during this time.
