Dorothy Guerry Infinger CHARLESTON - Dorothy Guerry Infinger, 92, of Charleston, South Carolina, entered into eternal rest Saturday, March 29, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family. Her Funeral Service will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, in the J. Henry Stuhr Inc., West Ashley Chapel, 3360 Glenn McConnell Parkway, at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at Live Oak Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday, one hour prior to the service. Dorothy was born April 20, 1932, in Charleston, South Carolina, daughter of the late Soloman Lee Guerry and Julia Carter Guerry. She graduated from Chicora High School and Palmer Business College. Dorothy married Hubert Infinger in 1952 and they had four wonderful children, one daughter and three sons. She always felt like she had the best of both worlds because she was a stay at home mother until her last child was in high school. She then went to work and retired from the Planning Depot at the Charleston Naval Shipyard. She is survived by her daughter, Sabra Campbell (Butch); sons, Guerry Infinger (Pam), Carter Infinger (Karen), Rhett Infinger (Dr. Libby); eight grandchildren, Jonathan Campbell, Kyle Campbell, Emily Richardson (Josh), Adam Infinger, Leah Infinger, Caroline Infinger, Rhett Edward Infinger, and Lilly Fran Infinger; three great-grandchildren, Savannah Campbell, Makenna Infinger, and Scarlett Richardson; brother, Jack Guerry (Wilma); and sister, Betty Lou Gresham. In addition to her late husband, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lee Brooks, and Annette MacEwen. She has been a member of Ashley River Baptist Church for 54 years and before that, a member of Charleston Heights Baptist Church. She loved the Lord and her family. When she was younger, she participated in all activities at Civic Club. She also belonged to the Garden Club for many years, and was active in the community.
