Dorothy Eisbruckner Obituary

EISBRUCKNER, Dorothy Dorothy Dot Martin Eisbruckner., 86, widow of Herman J. Eisbruckner, passed away on April 23, 2008. Born August 16, 1921 in Awendaw, she was the daughter of the late Herbert C. Martin and Lillie Murrell Martin. She was preceded in death by her sister, Woodrow Hilton, Gertrude H. Hiott, Leroy Martin, Betty M. MacDonald, Delores M. Lynch and Vernon Martin and four of her children, Ernie C. Mallard, Gertrude M. Carpenter, Elizabeth M. Stinnette and Dorothy M. Crosby. She is survived by her loving children, Barbara M. Knight of Orlando, FL, Jean M. Hull of Charleston, SC, Robert E. Eisbruckner of Longwood, NC and Herman V. Eisbruckner of New Orleans, LA. She is also survived by over 40 loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at Stuhr's Downtown Chapel Friday evening from 5:00 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL on Saturday, April 26 at noon. Burial will follow in Bethany Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to Southside Baptist Church (87 Beaufain Street, Charleston, SC 29401), or to Hospice of Charleston (3870 Leeds Avenue, Suite 101, Charleston, SC 29405). JEAN SO SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS. I LOST MY MOTHER WHEN I WAS 18 AND STILL MISS HER. I WOULD HAVE COME TO THE WAKE BUT DIDN'T RETURN FROM FLORIDA UNTIL SATURDAY. YOU WILL BE IN MY PRAYERS. LOVE, VERA
