Dorothy Bradham Obituary

Obituary For Dorothy Mae Bradham Dorothy Mae Loney Bradham, a devoted servant of God, beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully in her home in North Charleston, South Carolina, on September 29, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on October 2, 1935, in Goose Creek, South Carolina, Dorothy was the daughter of the late Teddy B. Loney and Patsy Grant Daisy. She received her education through the Charleston and Berkeley County school systems, laying the foundation for a life of wisdom, grace, and unwavering faith. Dorothy's spiritual journey began early at Mt. Mariah Missionary Baptist Church, where she accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized in 1951. She remained a faithful member throughout her life, serving passionately in the Senior Ministry, the Senior Choir, and the Usher Board. Her devotion to spreading the Gospel and the work of the Holy Spirit was evident in every aspect of her life. In 1958, Dorothy was united in holy matrimony to Joseph Bradham Jr., who preceded her in death. Their loving union was blessed with five sons: Douglas Eugene Bradham (Belinda), the late Joseph Bradham III, Mark Dura Bradham (Monalisa), David Bradham (Inez), and Kip Anthony Bradham. Dorothy was the second of seven children and is survived by three siblings: Billy Daisy (Annette), Francine Christie (Smilie), and Albertha Daisy Haynesworth (John). She also leaves behind seven grandchildren-Brian Bradham, Kamesha Bradham, Iesha Nixon, Markeya Bradham, David Bradham Jr., Tonya Bradham, and Briana Bradham-and eight great-grandchildren, all of whom were the joy of her heart. Throughout her life, Dorothy profoundly touched countless lives. She was a caring and giving soul who loved everyone unconditionally. Her legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to inspire all who knew her. "Do not cry, for that body before you I no longer reside in-I'm now with my Lord & Savior!" -Dorothy Bradham FORMAL VISITATION Monday, October 6, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Mt.
