To the Burnell Family,
You have my deepest sympathy. Doris was truly a beautiful person. I will always remember her as one of the first majorettes on the squad that I trained as a new teacher at Burke High School.

Doris was a wonderful, life-filled person who had a passion for children and making sure they had what they needed to succeed in the foster care system. She will be greatly missed.

I will miss you my friend. You not only were a wonderful Foster Care Review Board Member, but you were a wonderful friend.

Keeping the family, friends and foster children in our thoughts and prayers. Ms Smalls was an incredible woman, loved by many! She gave so much of herself to everyone she met. I will miss her and her warm smile dearly.
