Doris Berry Maher Moffatt JOHNS CREEK, GA - Doris Berry Maher Moffatt, 94, entered into eternal rest February 21, 2011, at Ivy Hall at St. Ives in Johns Creek, GA, (where she resided for nine years). Doris was born March 29, 1916 in Bowman, SC, the daughter of Robert J. Berry and Pearl Dukes Berry. Dot, as she was known to many friends, drew great enjoyment from sewing, dancing, gardening, and fishing and boating. She worked at the Medical College of SC in Charleston for 20 years. Dot was fortunate to enjoy two happy marriages. She was preceded in death by her first husband of 34 years, Matthew F. Maher, and her second husband of 23 years, Wilder Moffatt. Surviving are her daughter, Doris M. Bilton and husband Robert of Johns Creek, GA; son Matthew F. Maher Jr. and wife Diane of Noblesville, IN; six grandchildren John Bilton, Robin Henry, Karen Lester, Michael Bilton, Matthew Maher, and Mark Maher; seven great-grandchildren; one brother Reverend Rentz Berry; and many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 1 p.m., Saturday, February 26, at St. Benedicts Church, 11045 Parsons Road in Duluth, GA.
