Doris "Dora" Mae Glover CHARLESTON, SC - Doris "Dora" Mae Glover, 67, of Charleston, SC, passed away Sunday, January 19, 2014, at her home. She was born August 9, 1946, in Charleston, SC, the daughter of Anna L. Glover and the late James Glover, Jr. Doris loved children and cared for several of her nieces and nephews, sharing an especially close bond with her youngest nephew, Jordan. Surviving are her brothers, Nathaniel (Janice) Glover, Andrew (Mary) Glover of Waukegan, IL, James (Louise) Glover of Jacksonville, FL, Walter Glover of Augusta, GA, Ralph (Marie) Glover, and Anthony Glover; her sisters, Vernus (Burnett) Bennett, Carrie (Keith) White, and Latricia (Gerald) Ford; and a special aunt, Evangelist Mae Robinson. Her brothers Clifford Glover, Franklin Glover, and Zuri Zuberi preceded her in death. The family and friends of Doris M. Glover are invited to attend her funeral services at 11:00 AM, Saturday, January 25, 2014, at Canaan Missionary Baptist Church, 1561 Mosstree Rd, North Charleston, SC. Burial will follow the service at Sunset Memorial Gardens. There will be a wake Friday, January 24, 2014, at the church from 6:00 - 8:00 PM.
