Doris DeCoons Obituary
Doris J. (nee Peschken), 86, of Phillipsburg, NJ on April 8, 2014. Born and raised in Paterson, she moved to Belvidere in 2005. Doris retired from Grand Union in Wayne and had also worked for The A&P in Paterson. She was a member of Hawthorne Gospel Church.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband William F. DeCoons in 2011. Survivors include her loving daughter Dawn Shpudejko and husband Igor of Mahwah and loving son John DeCoons and wife Linda of Belvidere, NJ. There are three adoring grandchildren, Jay, Ryan and Keith surviving along with two adoring great-grandsons, Cody and Jack surviving.
Funeral services will be Friday at 12 PM at Browning-Forshay Funeral Home, 557 Lafayette Avenue, Hawthorne, NJ. Interment to follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Paterson. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105-1905 would be appreciated.

Dear Dawn, We extend our heartfelt sympathy to you at this time of deepest personal loss; may the peace and presence of our Lord Jesus Christ, as well as the prayers of His people, be a great comfort to you at this difficult time. Regretfully, a double case of the flu has prevented us from being with you in person at this time. With Christian love, Bob and Linda Falconieri.
