Dear friend and loving "family", Doris we talk of all the love, friendship and laughter as though we were still together HERE. Can't wait till we are together again.

My Dad (Hiram A. "Hike" Joyner and his brothers Wilson "Booster", & Edmond Joyner) were part of the 300 "brothers and sisters" for the Charleston Orphan Home. As one of her "nephews", and as a co-member of the same congregation I have been blessed over the years to be in her presence. We sang in the same choir till that was no longer possible for her. We were proud to carol in her front yard over the years during the Christmas season. She never let us part company without a smile a hug and a kiss on the cheek Her loving demeanor was a beacon to all who had the good fortune to meet and greet her. We shall always speak her name with love and remember her with fondest memories. Our family held Doris in hearts as another"grandmother. Jeannie remembers your smile and laughter as though it still lingers in the air. John will never forget those special hugs from you and Brandon wishes to be able to make you laugh just once more so he could see the twinkle in your eye. So, Till we meet again Dear Doris, and enjoy the presence of your company and those other angels who cheered you home, we love you.
God bless your family .
