Doreen Skotarzak Obituary
Doreen Ceceila Skotarzak, age 76, of Berlin, died Monday afternoon, April 4, 2016 at Theda Clark Medical Center of Neenah.
She was born on September 29, 1939 in Tomahawk, Wisconsin the daughter of Bertram and Marjorie (Kopelka) Parker.
Doreen married Gerald Skotarzak on May 31, 1958 in Berlin and he preceded her in death on June 17, 2003.
She had worked as a Stitcher for the W.C. Russell Moccasin Company of Berlin for many years.
Doreen enjoyed going to rummage sales, shopping with Angie Browning at the Second Time Around Shop, doing word searches, reading cookbooks and spending time with family and being with her best friend, her dog Rachael.
Doreen is survived by her son, Michael (Lori) Skotarzak of Va Caville, California, three daughters, Susan Klick (John Vanloon) of Berlin, Carol (Scott) Loging of Wautoma and Ann (Tedd) Henriksen of Berlin; two sisters, Patricia Augun of Neenah and Nancy Thiel of Watertown; four brothers, Bertram Parker Jr. of Neshkoro, Fred Parker of Neshkoro, Tom (Betty) Parker of Berlin and David (Linda) Parker of Berlin; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Doreen is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many good friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald, her parents Bertram and Marjorie Parker; one sister Sally; two sisters-in-law, Joann Parker and Janet Parker; two brothers-in-law, Louis Augun and Kenneth Thiel, and a nephew, Kenneth Thiel.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family and pay their respects to Doreen on Monday April 11, 2016 from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Wiecki-Skipchak Berlin Funeral Home with a Funeral Service to follow at 2 p.m. at the Funeral Home, with the Pastor Bryan Lundquist officiating and burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery of Berlin.
After the services at the cemetery, all are invited back to the Funeral Home fully handicapped accessible Family Center, for fellowship and lunch with the family.
A memorial has been established in her memory.
