Dora White Obituary

Dora Sarah White HANAHAN - Dora Sarah White of Cross, S.C. entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2015. Born March 20, 1928, Dora was the daughter of Lemuel J. Weatherford and Lily Clark Weatherford. A member of Faith Church, Dora loved shopping, yard sales, mission work, and helping out at the church. She was a faith-based wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Dora was survived by her husband of 65 years, Daniel O. White, sons Daniel O. White, Jr., Wyman A. White, Franklin O. White (Blanca), daughter Teresa Powell (Larry, Sr.), brother Henry Weatherford, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend visitation from 6-8 p.m., Friday, October 2, 2015 at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, S.C. 29406. Funeral service will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home 10 a.m., Saturday, October 3, 2015. There will be a reception following the funeral service for Dora at Spring Valley Mobile Home Park 1001 Spring Valley Drive Hanahan, SC 29410. If there is one thing I will remember about Mrs. White it is how she always met me with a hug and her beautiful smile. I am so sorry for your loss Teresa. I know you were lucky enough to have a close relationship with your Mom, and she will be missed very much.
