Dora Kathleen Benton Cordray CHARLESTON - Dora Kathleen Benton Cordray, 75, of Charleston, South Carolina, widow of Archie Jerome Cordray entered into eternal rest Tuesday, January 7, 2014. Her Funeral Service will be Saturday, January 11, 2014 in Ashley River Baptist Church, 1101 Savannah Hwy. at 11:00 a.m. Burial services will follow at the gravesite in Carolina Memorial Park at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends Friday, January 10, 2014 in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., WEST ASHLEY CHAPEL, 3360 Glenn McConnell Pkwy from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Dora was born April 28, 1938 in Jacksonboro, North Carolina, daughter of the late Cannie Anderson Benton and Lee Garvin Benton. She was a retired Registered Nurse with Roper Hospital and a member of Ashley River Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Cordray Bullard of Hollywood, SC; son, David C. Cordray of Charleston, SC; sister, Joan Benton of Charleston SC; and grandson, Michael Bullard of Hollywood, SC. Dora was predeceased by two brothers, Cannie Benton, Jr. and Jack Benton.
