Donnie Hearne RIDGEVILLE, SC - Donnie Little Hearne, 72, of Ridgeville, SC, formerly of Elm City, NC, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 8, 2021 surrounded by his loving family. Donnie was born on March 4, 1949 in Wilson, NC. Donnie was the son of the late Rufus Little Hearne and Linda Carol Howard Hearne. Donnie is preceded in death by his parents and two loving brothers-in-law - Wallace Owens and Ed Pittman. Donnie is survived by his wife, Mary Ann Hearne, of 52 years, son - Joshua (Kelly) Hearne; daughter - Melissa (Mike) Hair; Pop Pop to his grandchildren - Jarrett and Maren; sister - Carol Owens, sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Paula and Wayne Owens; sister-in-law, Gloria Pittman; special mother-in-law, Margaret Whitehead; nephews - Matt (Laura) and Marcus (Lauren); uncle, Walter and aunt, Louise Hearne; aunt Mary Elizabeth Hearne; many cousins; and many friends made along the way. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Susan G. Komen Foundation or charity of your choice. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4:00-6:00pm at McAlister-Smith Funeral and Cremation, 869 St. James Avenue, Goose Creek, SC 29445 with service to follow at 6:00pm.
