Donna and I were classmates.We always found a joke or something to laugh about.As I read the entries in the guest book,I am not surprised.Her smile,her kindness,her true friendships and her Faith continued throughout her life.We all are fortunate for having her in our lives at sometime or another.For me it was the
60's and 70's and Donna and I learned alot from each other.I am deeply saddened that her life was cut so short but I know that God must need her more.A bell must be ringing somewhere because a new Angel just got her wings.Bless you so much

Donna was more than a niece to my parents and a cousin to both me and my brother. She became a daughter to my parents and a sister to my brother and me when she moved to San Antonio, TX in the late 70's. She was a constant part of our lives ever since I was a child; she always had something entertaining for us to do, and a way of holding out on when the fun would begin. To Aunt 'Nell, Arvernell, and Maryland, our hearts are full, but we know that you are in good hands; his peace and comfort be with you over these next few days and always.

Evans family (Nassau Bay, TX)

I met Donna in 1971 at Moultrie High School. We were classmates until we graduated in 1975 from Wando High School. Donna was always laughing and smiling. We lost touch, but reunited again at Nichols Chapel AME Church -- and there she was, still laughing and smiling. Ms. Nell, Avernell, Marilyn, Dexter and the rest of the family,take solace in knowing that she is in a better place -- where there is no pain or suffering. Cherish the time you had on Earth with her, and the fond memories that she left with each of you. I pray God's blessing for each and every one of you.

I had the pleasure of working with Mrs. Donna. She was always smiling, upbeat, and would run circles around all of us even though she had worked 8 hrs prior to coming to the IOP. To the Jenkins family, you have my deepest sympathy. Mrs. Donna will be missed.

Extremely sorry to hear about Donna's passing. I worked at times with Donna at MUSC until I had to medically retire. One of the last things she said to me was "I'll pray for you" and I said "you also". Now she is healthy and well with Jesus...
