Donna Byrd Obituary

Donna Pye Byrd SUMMERVILLE - It is with great sadness that the family of Donna Pye Byrd announce her passing on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. Donna graduated from R. B. Stall High in 1978 and worked at Charleston Rubber Company before retiring as an Administrative Assistant at Walgreens Corporate office. She was an active member of the Eastern Star, Azalea Chapter 192. Donna was a selfless, loving person who enjoyed taking care of her grandchildren, making quilts, collecting glassware and loved her fur babies, Chi Chi and Gretchen. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 40 years, Michael B. Byrd Sr., sons, Michael and Jason, mother and step-father, Becky and Ralph Campbell, father, Joseph Pye Sr., twin sister Debra (Mark), nieces, Tracey, Joy, Ashley, brothers, Eddy, Joey, Ricky, Ronnie, step-brothers, Steve, Donnie, Kenny, step-sister, Barbara, mother and father- in-law, Bud and Linda Byrd, brother-in-law, Ed (Sandy), niece and nephew, Ryan and Rachel, sisters in law, Brenda, Vickie, nephew, Kevin Jr., grandchildren, Michaela, Keiran, Layla, Jason Jr., Brody, Isaac, Elena Rebecca Grace, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family and dear friends. A visitation at 5:00 PM and memorial service at 6:00 PM will be held at Simplicity Lowcountry, 281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, S.C. on Saturday, December 1, 2018. Pastor Woody Butler will be officiating.
