Donell Everett Jenkins N. CHARLESTON - It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Donell Everett Jenkins, 59, on April 18, 2024. He departed this life at Richland Hospital in Columbia, SC at 4:32 PM. The relatives and friends of Mr. Donell Everett Jenkins are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Destiny Worship Center, 3625 Azalea Drive, North Charleston, SC. Interment will follow in Ocean Grove Cemetery, 534-598 McCants Drive, Mt. Pleasant, SC. A public walk-through viewing will be held Friday, April 26, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in Murray's Mortuary - North Charleston Chapel, 4060 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Jenkins; his mother, Miriam Jenkins; his sisters, Herline Sampson and Patrice Jenkins-Maxwell; his paternal grandparents, Elix and Emily Jenkins; his maternal grandparents, Marion and Geneva Hamilton. He was a loving father to Ms. Devin Venning, Ms. Crystal Grant, Mrs. Shameka Bennett (Moe Selmi), Ms. Desiree Manigault, Mr. Curtis L. Wilson, Mr. Donell Joiner, and Mr. Kason Sanders. Donell was also the proud grandfather of Mr. Anthony Nettles., Jr., Mr. Noah Nettles, Ms. Skylar Bennett-Scott, Mr. Perry Anderson, Jr., Mr. Donell Joiner-Scott, Ms. Kamariya Holback, Mr. Curtis D. Wilson, Ms. Gabrielle Wilson, and Ms. Jasmine Wilson. Donell is further survived by his siblings, Mrs. Lakeisha Jenkins-Cribb (Lionel), Ms. Deadrian Bennett, Mr. Kyle Jenkins and his amazingly devoted friend Ms. Shelia Major as well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
