I remember Mr. Webb best for his service to the Charleston County Housing and Redevelopment Authority. Mr. Webb was there to investigate fraud but his role as Deputy became so much more to staff and residents. Mr. Webb proved to be a great confidant. Staff and residents spent hours in his office seeking his words of wisdom and knowledge. Mr. Webb retired before I left the housing authority. I missed him then and I still miss him today. Cathy (as he affectionately called his wife) and his children have my deepest sympathy.
