Libby I am so sorry to hear of Don's passing. I remember you both well from when I delivered your mail on Robin St. (I was the one with the right hand drive white Ford F-150 truck). You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Libby, please accept my deepest sympathy in the loss of your husband. We were both in the SCHP Class of 1957, and I had the pleasure of being a fellow classmate. We were both assigned to Spartanburg County after graduation. He was a good Highway Patrolman who accomplished much in his career, but I never thought he received the recognition he deserved. I remember when you and Angus got married in 1958 and thought you were made for each other. May the wonderful memories you’ve made through the years help comfort you during this difficult time.

Papa will be missed! I still remember the first time I had a chance to meet him when Austin and I went to Spartanburg to his grandparents. He took us to my first Chic fil an experience and treated me like I was part of the family! He was a great father and grandfather to his family! I was lucky to have met him.

Libby and family, Jim and I are so sorry for your loss. We always remember Don as a fellow church member, a friend and a terrific fisherman. Don brought us a bucket of crappie one time after I had told him that was my favorite fish! He was special. Please know that we are praying for all of you as you grieve. Love to all.

Libby, Donnette, Robyn and families:
I am so, so sorry to hear about Don's passing. Your whole family has been a part of our family forever. I know you will miss him dearly. He was always so kind and humble and I felt like he was another dad to me growing up. I missed seeing the two of them at Anderson Mill after they moved, but I know they were so happy to be near the girls and grands. You are all in our thoughts and prayers! We love you and miss you!
