Thinking of a quiet, kind man. It is always too soon to lose a loved one. Even though it has been a year, I'm sure there are days where it is a lifetime, and days where it is still so very fresh in your hearts. I fell as long as you keep his memory in your hearts he will always be with you. Hold tight to the good ones.

It was a pleasure for Sarah and I to know Don and Nancy primarily from our mutual membership in the Military Officers Association of America. We honor and celebrate the long life of an American Patriot, fine citizen, and dedicated family man. Sincere hopes and prayers for comfort and condolence for Nancy and the family.

Dear Nancy and Family,
I am saddened for your loss, Don was always such a gentleman every time I saw or spoke with him. I mostly know him through my mom's interactions and kind words of him and you. It breaks my heart knowing the loss you are experiencing. I know the angels are holding you close.

So sorry to hear about Don's passing. I'm sure my dad was there at the moment of his passing to welcome his cousin home.

My mom has many happy memories working with him through the Beautification committee and of your parents working with the Otranto Garden Club as a member of the Berkeley Hills Garden Club. Our sincere sympathy on his passing. I pray for you families.

Our family had the honor to be neighbors with the Lovelace's from August 1974 until the passing of our mom. They will always be a part of our hearts. Thank you for all the memories and the friendship. Mrs. Lovelace, Malia and "the boys", my heart feels your sadness. Mr. Lovelace will always be remembered as an awesome man. He and Mrs. Lovelace were so supportive as my son went through school, The Citadel and The Army. Their encouragement is what kept us going through deployments. Thank you for the amazing memories. We love you!

Nancy & Family:
Please accept my heartfelt sympathies on the passing of Don. A true friend and one blessed with true humility. His selfless devotion to family, community and to his nation were hallmarks in a long life. My wish is that Smooth Seas and Fair Winds are with you Nancy as you begin a new chapter. Vaya Con Dios
