Dona C. Williams SUMMERVILLE - Dona C. Williams, 83, of Summerville, widow of James E. Williams, Sr., passed away on Monday, June 13, 2016 at her residence. Friends and family may call at Bethany United Methodist Church, Spell Chapel, on Saturday, June 18, 2016 from 10 o'clock until hour of service. Funeral services will begin at 11 o'clock AM. Interment will be held at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery in Arcola, NC at a later date. Dona was born on August 14, 1932 in Rocky Mount, NC daughter of the late Roy Glenn Capps, Sr. and Vera (Harris) Capps. She initially worked as an Accounting & Finance civil servant for the Department of Defense and later as an office manager for Berlin G. Myers Lumber Corporation for over 30 years. Dona loved God, her family, her unbelievably loyal and loving friends, her Berlin G. Myers Lumber Corp. family, the Charles Peace Sunday School Class and the Carter Dunbar Circle at Bethany United Methodist Church. She was a long time member of Bethany United Methodist Church since 1970. Surviving are: three children: James E. Williams, Jr. (Pam) of Summerville, Marsha Harris (Danny) of Concord, NC and Glenn E. Williams (Kim) of Columbia, SC; two grandchildren: Matthew E. Williams (Anna) and Ethan G. Williams; one brother: Jesse Louis Capps (Yetive). She was predeceased by her son, Ronald Glenn Williams and her brother Roy Glenn Capps, Jr. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethany United Methodist Church, 118 W. 3rd S.
