Don is survived by his wife, Joyce; children, Linda (Don) Plaster, Judy (Frank) Eaton, Scott (Elaine) Hislop. 9 grandchildren. 13 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brothers Russ & Bud; sisters, Lois Wilkes & Janet Rowley
Funeral Service: 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 16, 2015 from St. Andrew's United Church, Arcola, Saskatchewan with The Reverend Koshy David officiating. Interment in the Arcola Cemetery.
If friends so wish, donations may be made to the Arcola Family Health Clinic.

Our sincere sympathy to you all. Didn't know him real well personally but always knew 'Don Hislop' as one of Arcola's community leaders, a gentleman with a unique sense of humor & laugh and always in the stands at the auction barn or at the town happenings. Sorry to hear of Don's passing. I remember him betting quarters at the auction mart, on what the cattle would weigh, with the other retired men from town. I enjoyed listening to his war stories. He will be missed and he was treasured.

To the Hislop family- sorry to hear of Don's passing. I didn't know him that well but used to enjoy seeing him drive by with his arm just awaving or stopping in for a quick chat if we were outside.
