Dear Donna:
I have such wonderful memories of "Uncle Don", my daughter's godfather, and my friend. He was always so kind to me, and offered his wisdom and humor when I needed it most. I remember eating quail for breakfast in Galveston, his terrific Elvis impersonation, and picture him in his cowboy hat and fur coat - what an image! I was touched by the news of our loss of a man who has left such a mark on this world, and will cherish my memories of a man who was so loving to my Noel. My love and prayers to you, Bonnie

Donna and family,
DJ, (that was what I always called Don, and I first met in the second or third grade. We were almost inseparable. We were put in different class rooms and DJ started to cry. The school put us back together. DJ was in my wedding. Rode to GMA with him every day in HS, when he got that red and white Ford Convertible.
Sharp Car.
Lots of fond memories.
His rendition of "Al Jolson" will always
be in my mind.
Bless you all, his path crossed mine and I am so grateful, I know you are also.

With love.

Don was a true "class act" and there are not enough of those around anymore. Donna I know this is so hard for you, but all the wonderful memories - and there are so many - with the enormous love he had for you will help you through the hardest parts.
