Dolores Campanella Obituary

Dolores Campanella SUMMERVILLE - Dolores L. Campanella passed away peacefully on April 20, 2013. She was 96 years old. She was born on July 30, 1916 in Buffalo, NY to Joseph and Lucille Lensky Ehnes. Her beloved husband, Charles Campanella preceded her in death as did her first husband James F. Jordan. She is survived by her daughter, Marina Jordan Sharts, her son-in-law Rickey Sharts, and stepsons, Frank Campanella of Tonawanda, NY and Paul Campanella (Gloria) of Henderson, NV. She had three grandchildren, Robert MacDonald of San Jose, CA, Penny Davis of Olean, NY and the late Suzanne MacDonald. She also had three great-grandchildren: Robert C. Mesler (Lee Ann) of Summerville, SC, Jordan MacDonald and Mary Katherine MacDonald of Albany, OR and a great-great-grandson, Harvick Mesler. She was also blessed with five step-grandchildren, Frank and Melissa Campanella and Paul Jr., Joel, and Aaron Campanella. Mrs. Campanella was employed by Adam, Meldrum and Anderson Department Store in Buffalo, NY for many years as a cosmetic buyer until her retirement. She was a member of St. John the Beloved Catholic Church in Summerville, and belonged to the Solo Widow's Club. She was an avid reader of detective stories, a movie fan and collected books on the motion picture industry specializing in the 20's and 30's.
