GORDON, Dolly Dolly Coleman Gordon, 69, of Moncks Corner, SC, a former cashier for Food Lion, died Saturday in a North Charleston hospital. The funeral will be 11:00 AM this Tuesday morning, Oct. 10, 2006, in the Gethsemane Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Plantation Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at the Church from 10:00 AM until the hour of service. Directed by DIAL-MURRAY FUNERAL HOME, MONCKS CORNER. Mrs. Gordon was born May 11, 1937, in Buchanan, Virginia, a daughter of Wallace Coleman and Ida Coleman. She was a member of Gethsemane Baptist Church. Surviving are, her husband, James O. Jim Gordon; a daughter, Susanne G. Smith and her husband, Rick, of Surfside Beach; a son, James O. Gordon, Jr., and his wife, Kim, of Linden, Michigan; two sisters, Oma Slone of Mt. Vernon, OH, and Virginia Justice of Fenton, Michigan; three brothers, Lloyd Coleman and Wallace Coleman both of Hurley, VA, and Ted Coleman of Fenton, Michigan; and six grandchildren, Taylor Gordon, Brandon Smith, Devinne Gordon, Madison Smith, Emily Smith, and Rylee Gordon.
