I am so heart broken to run across this obit. Doc was a very sweet God fearing man. I used to sell fragrance oils at the flea market some years ago and met him there. I bought all of my t-shirts from Doc. And over time he taught me how to make my own. That was taking away from his sales, but he didn’t mind cos that’s the generous man he was. I left the tri-county some yrs ago but everytime I tell someone else how to make a t shirt I think of Doc. He will be greatly missed. I am in awe. Sip Doc, God needed another Angel.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Doc will always be remembered as a funny guy, his funny jesters was always needed, during times when he came into The Navy Exchange, he would say things just to make you laugh. He told me about his Tee Shirt Business, Doc printed some shirts for our Church Youth, He bragged it's good quality, and it was,I would often see him at Flea Market from time to time and I would purchase shirts. I saw him at Nex earlier in the year, he sat down in our lawn chairs, I said are you going to purchase that chair, he just smiled. Doc take your rest. Thanks for being that funny guy who loved to make everyone happy. To his Family, Condolence and Prayers to each of you.

Sincere condolences to the family from Jim and Georgie Rock. We came to know Doc over the years with his work with Smoaks HVAC- he spent many hours in our house over the years with HVAC replacements and such. My wife literally loved him and offered to fix him breakfast each time he was here. A true craftsman , gentleman, and we will miss him. RIP, our friend.

To the Boswell family,
Words cannot express the sorrow we feel for your loss. Doc was a true light in the lives of everyone who knew them. His kindness, jokes, and unwavering friendship will forever be cherished and remembered. He significantly and positively impacted his coworkers, customers, and everyone who knew him.
We will always hold dear the memories we shared—the laughter, the long talks, and the simple moments that meant so much, whether it was him cracking jokes in the crawl space or attic and talking about his Tennesse Volunteers (as long as they won).
Please know that the entire family is in our thoughts, and prayers are with you during this difficult time.
