Dianne Doyle Obituary

Dianne Doyle EHRHARDT, SC - Mrs. Dianne Harter Doyle, 64, passed away on Friday, April 13, 2012 in Asheville, NC. Funeral services will be conducted 1 o'clock Monday afternoon, April 16, 2012, from Ehrhardt Baptist Church, 427 Allen Street, Ehrhardt. Interment will follow in Ehrhardt Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday morning from 11 o'clock until 12:30 in the church sanctuary. The family will also receive friends from 5 o'clock until 7 o'clock Sunday at Parks Funeral Home, 130 West First North Street, Summerville. Mrs. Doyle was born December 26, 1947, in Colleton County and was originally from Ehrhardt, SC. She lived most of her wonderful life in Summerville teaching English at Alston Middle School, Gregg Middle School and Goose Creek Elementary. Teaching was her true passion of which she dedicated 30 years of her life before entering retirement. She loved the kids and the challenge of molding them into a path for success. She was a graduate of Baptist College with continued education at The Citadel where she obtained a Master Degree. She is survived by two daughters, Stephanie N. Doyle and Melissa A. Doyle who reside in Asheville, NC. Melissa is following Dianne's footsteps as a teacher with the same passion as her mother and Stephanie is also helping kids as the HR Coordinator for Families Together, an organization focused on improving the lives of children. Dianne is the daughter of Mrs. Grace Sease Harter of Summerville and the late Gary E. Harter. She has a brother Gary M. Harter living in Simpsonville, SC, along with his wife, Bobbi and son, Marshall. Flowers will be accepted, or for those who desire, memorial contributions may be directed in her memory to: John F.
