Dianne Clark Obituary

Dianne Lynn Leath Clark, 76, of North Charleston, died Tuesday at her residence. Her funeral will be 11:00 AM Friday morning, August 8, 2025, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday evening. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to one of the following charities: the American Cancer Society, PO Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741; American Council of the Blind, 225 Reinekers Lane, Suite 660, Alexandria, VA 22314; or to the Fisher House Charleston, 150 Wentworth St., Charleston, SC 29401. Mrs. Clark was born August 30, 1948, in Savannah, GA, a daughter off Roudy Joe Leath and Esther Louise Knight Leath. She was a member of Northwood Baptist Church which she looked forward to attending. In her spare time, she enjoyed dancing, listening to oldies and gospel music, and she was also an avid reader. Mrs. Clark loved taking care of her family and she formerly owned and operated a daycare. She was the widow of Sidney Clark, Jr. and was preceded in death by a brother, David Leath. Surviving are nine children, Marty Clark and his wife Paula of Goose Creek, Craig Clark and his wife Laurie of Iowa, Monica Clark of Maryland, Darren Clark and his wife Sunni of Ladson, Taffie Clark Barnes and her husband Nicholas of Maryland, Kevin Clark and his wife Victoria of N. Charleston, Curtis Clark, Dennis Clark, and Annamarie Clark Simmons and her husband Shermon all of N. Charleston; thirteen grandchildren, Sidney, Kyle, Aaron, Chloe, William, Malinda, Joselyn, Cairo, Leighlynn, Elan, Mason, Judson, and Caden; two great grandchildren, Kayleigh and Sadie; three sisters, Mary Tudor, Barbara Fetterolf, and Patricia Brockman; a brother, James Leath; one half-sister, Lisa Leath; and two half-brothers, Joseph Leath and Ralph Leath.
